Our story begins back in 1976 with the origin of all tanning beds. That year Friedrich Wolff, the brother of our company owner Jörg Wolff, registered the patent of his invention: The Sunbed!
To have the sunlight with its positive effects always available, regardless of the time of day or the year’s season was the original vision of our company founders.
To make their vision a reality, that same year the “Kosmedico” company was created and since then our light sources have been known world-wide as the best lamps available for cosmetic, medical and technical applications.
As the creators of the tanning industry, our group has continuously focused on studying and developing top of the line UV lighting products. Over our 47 years of existence, we have come up with several technological breakthroughs on UV light sources.
